Discovery

SevenFour Web Development begins the website design process with a Discovery phase, where we work with the client to gather information about the desired design and goals of the site. We take the time to really learn about the client's business and combine this knowledge with our extensive web development expertise to produce the best possible deliverable. The first step for the client is to fill out our free quote form so that we may better understand the goals.

Design

During the Design phase of the process, SevenFour Web Development leads the client through specific questions regarding the actual design of the site to determine likes and dislikes. We also consider the client's current logo or any predetermined color scheme preferences. We apply all of the design ideas to appeal to the client's main target audience and create a website concept. We review this website concept with the client until there is approval on the final design.

Development

During the Development phase, SevenFour Web Development takes the website concept from the Design phase and creates the coded HTML pages. The website's dynamic functionality and content is programmed specifically for the client's custom website. On-line forms are also inserted during this phase.

Testing

Once the website is completely built, an offline demo area is set up for the client to review. Final edits and changes are completed during this time.

Training

During the last phase, SevenFour Web Development works with the client to set the website up with the client's web hosting provider. We also review the process of maintaining website content and email accounts and transfer all end user knowledge regarding the site. Any design or functional documents pertaining to the website, such as raw design files or website administration information, is turned over to the client.

Go Live!

Your website goes live on the Internet. Your customers can now stay in touch with your business on-line and look for current news on your company's products and services.

Support

After your site is live and the knowledge transfer has occurred, you may have additional questions or decide that daily or weekly website maintenance is something you would rather outsource. SevenFour Web Development performs website maintenance in a timely manner to keep the information on your website current. A flat rate of $60 per hour with a minimum of 1 hour is incurred for this type of maintenance. For longer updates and maintenance, invoicing is incurred on a half hour basis after the first hour.
